Run for Homeless Youth
Grab your trainers and team mates it's time to unite and run for homeless youth.
The course takes in closed suburban streets in the back of Terrey Hills and is a little lumpy, with small hills scattered throughout. For those taking on the extra challenge of the half marathon - you have a 2-lap variation.
This course is the same as the Walk - be sure to high five team mates and industry peers along the way!
We highly recommend doing fitness training in preparation for the Run.

Course Notes
The course takes in closed suburban streets in the back of Terrey Hills.
There are aid stations at the 5km and 11km marks.
Estimated Finish Times:
- 15KM Run - 3 laps - Estimated time to complete - 1.5hrs - 2.5hrs.
- 10KM Run - 2 laps - Estimated time to completed - 45mins - 1hr50mins.
- 5KM Run - 1 lap - Estimated time to complete - 30mins - 50mins

On the Day
Participants will need to arrive in their running gear, ready to go!
Registrations, with coffee in the Event Village start from 8:30am for Runners
5KM Run Registration is at 10:45am | Start time is from 11:30am
10KM Run Registration is at 9:30am | Start time is from 10:30am.
15KM Run Registration is at 9:00am | Start time is from 9:45am.
We expect all walkers to be back at St Ives Showground by 12:00pm/ 12:30pm for lunch. (Lunch is from 12:00pm to 1:30pm).
While there will be on-course support, runners are expected to be self-sufficient and should carry:
- Mobile phone
- Water bottles & personal nutrition
- Appropriate clothing and spare change if wet weather and to change in for lunch.
- Hat & sunglasses
- Sunscreen

We do strongly recommend that you organise to carpool with your team mates, come via the shuttle or public transport.

Lunch
There will be a roaming lunch served at St Ives Showground following all events. The lunch will commence from approx 12:00pm and conclude at 1:30pm and participants can continue to network and relax until 3:00pm.
In the event village there will also be activities for you and the team to enjoy.
