Cycle for Homeless Youth

Choose from three ride distances at this year’s Tour de PIF, each offering a unique challenge through the beautiful Yarra Valley. Departing from RACV Healesville Resort, all riders will journey through picturesque countryside before tackling their chosen course. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or a scenic team ride, there’s a course to suit every level.
For those taking on the 70km Long Course, a special timed segment awaits riders competing for the coveted Dirty King and Queen of the Mountain titles!
There are two aid stations along the ride, the first being the Gruyere Recreation Reserve networking stop, which includes toilet facilities, coffee van and snacks. The second is at the Mt Don Road Summit.

The Courses
Long course l 70kms
Medium course l 55kms

30km – Mini Course
A relaxed, scenic route ideal for first-timers or casual riders. A great way to connect with your team while enjoying the views.
Estimated time to complete – 2hrs

55km – Short Course
A solid ride for returning riders looking to level up. Great for social teams or those chasing a balance between effort and enjoyment.
Estimated time to complete – 3-3.5hrs

70km – Long Course
Not for the faint-hearted! Designed for experienced riders looking for a serious challenge. Includes the infamous King or Queen of the Mountain challenge.

On the Day
Arrive in your cycling kit, ready to go! The Event Village will be open from 7:30am, with coffee, water, fresh fruit and pastries available to kick-start your morning.
All participants must register and collect their bib pack at least 45 minutes before their ride start time. Bib packs will be available at the registration desk on the day. Need to switch ride types or swap a team member? Head to the desk early, as last-minute changes may take extra time.
We expect all cyclists to return to RACV Healesville Resort by 12:30pm, where you can freshen up using the shower facilities before enjoying drinks, networking and a sit-down lunch.
While there will be on-course support, riders are expected to be self-sufficient and should carry:
- Mobile phone, water bottles & personal nutrition
- Appropriate clothing and spare clothing for wet weather/change for lunch.
- Hat & Sunscreen
- Tools and equipment to repair (e.g. tubes, tyre levers, inflation etc)
Schedule:
- 8:45am – Safety Briefing (mandatory for all riders)
- 9:00am – 70km ride departs
- 9:10am – 55km and 30km rides depart
- 11:30am – 12:40pm: Riders return
- 1:00pm: Lunch in the Ballroom
- 3:00pm: Event concludes
