I am participating in Steps For Homeless Youth on May 22

Last year, 40,000 young people aged 15–24 asked for help. 1 in 2 were turned away due to lack of beds

The Property Industry Foundation exists to solve this problem of youth homelessness. The Foundation brings together the property and construction industry to build homes for homeless youth through its Haven Project.

I'm going to be running 20km in beautiful Melbourne! My training will consist of my usual gym sessions, circus shenanigans, cycling and probably a 5 km run or 2 in the lead up to the event. 

I work for Hope Street Youth and Family Services at their youth refuge so I see first hand the impacts of youth homelessness.
