Every night in Australia, more than 46,000 young people face the heartbreaking reality of homelessness. Join the Pedal for Homeless Youth to help make a difference.
On 30 July at The Queen Street Mall, Queensland’s property and construction industry will unite in a high-energy cycling challenge to raise funds to build Haven Houses, providing safe and secure housing for young people in need. By joining the challenge, you’re not just pedaling—you’re helping build a future for homeless youth.
Gather your colleagues, friends, or family and take on this endurance sprint to out-pedal the competition. The event will take only minutes, but its impact will last a lifetime. Every night, 46,000 young Australians are without a safe and secure place to sleep. Not every young person can live with their family, and for many, foster care isn’t an option. These young people urgently need safe, stable housing to rebuild their lives.
The Property Industry Foundation is dedicated to ending youth homelessness by accelerating the delivery of safe, stable housing in partnership with the property and construction industry.
Through the Haven Project, we combine practical action—like building homes—with long-term, systemic change to create lasting solutions.
Guided by our vision of a safe home for every young Australian, we exist with one purpose: to make a tangible impact on the lives of homeless youth.
