Team up and pedal for change
Every night in Australia, more than 46,000 young people face the heartbreaking reality of homelessness. Join the Pedal for Homeless Youth to help make a difference.
On 24 July at The Queen Street Mall, Queensland’s property and construction industry will unite in a high-energy cycling challenge to raise funds to build Haven Houses, providing safe and secure housing for young people in need. By joining the challenge, you’re not just pedaling—you’re helping build a future for homeless youth.
Gather your colleagues, friends, or family and take on this endurance sprint to out-pedal the competition. The event will take only minutes, but its impact will last a lifetime. If you can’t make it on the day, you can still get involved with a Pedal your way session—when and where it suits you and be part of the movement for change. Your participation and fundraising efforts will contribute directly to building homes for homeless youth, giving them the stability they need to thrive.

Why Pedal?
Homelessness isn’t just about lacking a roof over one’s head—it’s about young people struggling against circumstances beyond their control, facing insecurity, trauma, and an uncertain future. The Property Industry Foundation is committed to breaking this cycle by funding and constructing Haven Homes—safe, secure spaces where young people can rebuild their lives.

This is where you come in. By jumping on a bike and joining the Pedal for Homeless Youth, you’re not just taking part in a challenge—you’re actively helping to provide stability, security, and a brighter future for Queensland’s homeless youth. Funds raised go directly to the Property Industry Foundation and support their mission to build more safe homes and bedrooms for at-risk young people through the Haven Project.
