The Team Behind the Melbourne Tour de PIF 2026

19 Aug 2026

This year marks a milestone for the Property Industry Foundation — our 30th Anniversary — and to celebrate three decades of rebuilding young lives, we're gearing up for the 13th annual Melbourne Tour de PIF, the biggest cycling challenge in the property and construction industry.

On Friday, 13 November, riders and supporters will gather at the stunning RACV Cape Schanck Resort on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula for Melbourne Tour de PIF 2026. With brand-new courses for every level of rider, a new Lunch Only option for those who'd rather celebrate than cycle, and a shared goal of raising $200,000 to build safe bedrooms for young people through The Haven Project, this year's event is shaping up to be our most impactful yet.

But behind every Tour de PIF ride, every course route, every networking moment and every dollar raised, there's a dedicated group of industry volunteers working behind the scenes to make it all happen. This is an event built by the industry, for the industry — and none of it would be possible without the passion and commitment of our Event Committee.

The Driving Force Behind the Melbourne Tour de PIF

Each year, a group of property and construction professionals volunteers their time, expertise and networks to plan, promote and deliver the Melbourne Tour de PIF. From course advice to sponsor engagement, and rider recruitment, the Committee is part of the engine room behind this industry movement.

This year's Melbourne Tour de PIF Committee brings together representatives from some of the property and construction sector's leading organisations:

  • Angus MacHutchinson — Oreana
  • Elaine Ross — GPT
  • Julie Dacumos — GPT
  • Nadia Combe — Spiire
  • Peter Wells — CMW
  • Rachelle Hume — Aliro
  • Stuart Verrier — Melbourne Airport

Together, this team represents the very best of what the Melbourne Tour de PIF stands for: an industry coming together, across companies and disciplines, united by a shared commitment to breaking the cycle of youth homelessness.

Why the Committee Matters

The Melbourne Tour de PIF isn't just a cycling event — it's a fundraising platform with real, measurable impact. Every dollar raised goes directly toward building safe bedrooms for young people through The Haven Project.

Delivering an event of this scale, with the ambition of raising $200,000 this year alone, takes serious planning and industry goodwill. The Committee members give their time freely, on top of their day jobs, because they believe in what the Melbourne Tour de PIF represents — an industry stepping up for the more than 46,000 young Australians who don't have a safe place to sleep tonight.

Their efforts ensure that whether someone is tackling the long course, enjoying the short course with colleagues, or simply joining for lunch and connection, the day runs seamlessly and the cause remains front and centre.

A Thank You, Thirty Years in the Making

As the Property Industry Foundation celebrates 30 years of impact, it's a fitting moment to recognise the volunteers who make events like Tour de PIF possible year after year. The Committee's dedication reflects the very spirit of the Foundation: an industry that builds together, rebuilds lives together.

If you'd like to be part of the movement — whether riding, volunteering, or simply joining the celebration — registration for Melbourne Tour de PIF 2026 is now open at tourdepif.com.au.
