A night to come together and wrap essential items for local charities supporting young people in need.
Kindly hosted by Cox, this wrap night is an opportunity to meet and connect with likeminded people from across the property and construction industry as we come together, network and wrap essential toiletries for young people in need.
Led by the Queensland Future Leaders Committee, this special initiative aims to enhance the meaningful support offered to Queensland institutions that need a helping hand.
For this event we partnered with BABI Youth and Family Services, an organization working to assist homeless or at-risk young people in the Wynnum/Redlands region since 1983. BABI offers supported accommodation for young individuals, including young parents, along with a range of wrap-around services focused on fostering family and community connections.

STEP 1
Register your attendance
By selecting one or more of the available packs, you’re not only locking in your attendance but giving a young person/s essential toiletries.

Save the date
Arrive at Cox (L2 2 Edward Street) at 5pm on the 20th of March.
We will provide everything you need for your purchased packs (NO NEED TO BRING ANYTHING).
STEP 3
Enjoy the night
Join our Future Leaders wrapping essential toiletries for young people seeking BABI’s support.
Nibbles and light refreshments will be provided.
Available Packs
Packs will provide essential toiletries items that young people may not otherwise be able to afford without your support. This includes items such as toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, sanitary products and other personal hygiene products.
Male Pack
As young males transition through puberty, they experience significant mental and physical changes. It's a time filled with new challenges, and developing good hygiene habits is essential to supporting this important stage in their lives.
By choosing the male pack, you provide not only general toiletries but also those specifically designed to meet the unique needs of young males. Your support helps them build confidence and learn how to care for themselves during this transformative period.
Female Pack
As young women navigate the changes of puberty, they often experience a sudden shift in their hygiene needs, which can feel overwhelming amidst the many challenges they face on their journey to adulthood.
By selecting the female pack, you offer vital support and empower these young women with the essential toiletries they need. This gesture can help alleviate some of the stress during this transformative time in their lives, allowing them to focus on their growth and development with the backing of caring charity support. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
General Pack
Every young person, regardless of their age, culture, or gender, deserves access to basic human rights. While developing good hygiene may seem like a straightforward task, it can become a significant challenge for those facing difficult circumstances.
The physical and emotional barriers they encounter can make it hard to learn these essential life skills. The pressures of finding a safe place to sleep, escaping family violence, seeking employment, and securing food can feel like an overwhelming weight. No young person should bear these burdens during such a crucial period in their lives. By choosing the general pack, you are ensuring that a young person has the necessary tools to support them in this vital step towards establishing independent living habits and fostering a sense of dignity.
