Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register?
Click on any of the register buttons and then follow the prompts to create a fundraising account (if you don't already have one) and then follow and complete all the registration questions and registration payment. Once this is done, a fundraising page will automatically be set up for you - you can login via the SleepOut webpage to access you page at any time to edit/add updates, personalise and of course share your page to get donations!
How do I register a team?
Click register. Follow the prompts and fill out your individual information first. You will then be asked if you want to create or join a team. Follow the prompts to set up a new team or use the search function to find your team that is already registered and click 'join'. You will autmatically be connected to your teams page but also keep your personal page.
If you are a team captain, you can share the teams page via socials and email to invite your friends or colleagues to join you!
I’ve registered as an individual but now want to create a team, how do I do this?
After registering you'll notice your name appears in the top right hand side of the SleepOut site. Click on your name and go to the 'dashboard'. Click 'create a team' and follow the prompts. You can also register your colleagues while you're at it.
How can my workplace get involved?
The best way for your workplace to get involved is to register as a team (by following the steps above) and attend the event together. Fundraising as a team is also a lot easier than as an individual. You can also ask your work to match the amount that you raise.
