Hurri-Kate is taking on Tour de PIF on 12th September 2025
This September, I’m taking on the Tour de PIF by running a half marathon (yep, 21.1km!). The furthest I’ve ever run is 13km, so this is definitely pushing my limits—but I’m doing it for a really important reason.
Right now in Australia, 46,000 young people don’t have a safe place to call home. Even worse, 1 in 2 are turned away from accommodation services because there just isn’t enough space.
These stats were a real eye-opener—and they’re why I’m putting one foot in front of the other for the Property Industry Foundation, which brings the property and construction industry together to help build homes for homeless youth.
If you can support my run, I’d be so grateful. I’m expecting this to be a mental and physical punish (every training session included!)—but honestly, it’s nothing compared to what so many young people face every day.
PS. I'm accepting requests for race day costumes (Hats/ Wigs/ Face paint/ tutus etc.) in exchange for donations. If you want to see me looking absolutely ridiculous while I'm trying not to vomit from exhaustion hit me up.
